Practice Profile:

Aphra practices in criminal, immigration and asylum law.

She appears in the Crown, Youth and Magistrates courts on behalf of defendants in a broad range of criminal matters.

Prior to pupillage, Aphra worked as a paralegal for a large criminal defence firm preparing trials in the Magistrates' court and working with in-house counsel on complex Crown Court trials.

She also undertook an internship with the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants and assisted at weekly immigration advice session at a small charity in South London for newly arrived refugees and migrants.

During pupillage, Aphra was supervised by Emma Daykin, Andrew Selby and Ross Talbott.

Interests:

Aphra plays in the London Lawyers Symphony Orchestra and annually in the band for the Middle Temple Revels. She also teaches the piano and is a Girlguiding UK Leader.
