Crime both defence and prosecution to a high level frequently involving heavy weight multiple defendant trials. Particularly good with the young, vulnerable and those suffering from mental health or addiction issues.

Notable Cases:
R v M historical male rape with complicated bad character and mental health issues.
R v Anderson and others, leading junior, multi-handed blackmail, false imprisonment and torture case involving drugs supply ring.
R v Maggs, led junior, defended mother accused of causing permanent brain damage to baby, prosecution collapsed due to extensive pre-trial research and cross -examination of experts.
R v O represented 13 year old accused of rape of 6 year old girl involved cross-examination of very young witnesses.
R v Cheeseman led junior, complicated DTI case, did not proceed to trial after abuse argument (conducted without leader!)
R v Antoniou led junior, high profile (reported in all the broadsheets) death by dangerous driving,involvement of police officer and fire officer, defendant not direct party to the accident.
R v Aksakal and others, led junior, multi-handed murder alleged to be connected to terrorist group (PKK).
R v Meredith, represented young defendant first on indictment in multi-handed Section 18.
