Ellen accepts instructions all areas of criminal, including matters in the Courts Martial, and civil law.
Ellen undertook her first six under the supervision of Hannah Hurley, gaining exposure on a range of criminal cases including serious violent crime and sexual offences.
Prior to pupillage Ellen worked as an in-house advocate for DWF Law LLP (Global business legal services) appearing in the County Court across a range of civil disputes.
She has further background in Housing, having worked as a paralegal and caseworker, supporting clients dealing with homelessness and facing possession proceedings.
Ellen grew up in a military family, attended a Naval College and commissioned into the British Army Reserves in July 2022.
