Andrew Alexander is a highly experienced child law practitioner specialising in public and private law proceedings.

Andrew is robust and straightforward in his approach to both his lay and professional clients and believes it is very important that his lay clients are put at ease and fully understand proceedings. Andrew is very experienced in dealing with vulnerable clients and is adept at making sure clients are listened to and supported when facing the most stressful and emotional periods in their lives. Andrew is adept at communicating his advice to both professional and lay clients.

  • Administrative Court (High Court) and Court of Appeal work, including obtaining emergency injunctions and drafting grounds for Judicial Review and ‘out of hours’ applications to the High Court

Andrew was a Non-Executive Director of the Eagle House Group, Schools for children with Autism at all age groups. The Eagle House Group was created in 2004 to support families of children with autism.

Interests

A keen interest in filmmaking in my earlier years. I won a national film making competition in 1998, with a short film called ‘Chinese Takeout’, which I co-directed, produced and acted in.

I have a keen love of sports, especially cricket, being the Captain of Cricket at Rugby School.
